Who will distribute my movie and why?

My film is very low budget. I borrowed everything including my teacher’s car for the film.

I feel it is very unlikely that any large film company will distribute my film. It is not Hollywood bound.
I think my bet route to getting the film distributed is via social media F/B, Twitter, Google+, Blogger, YouTube, Vimeo etc.

Social media gets billions of hits per day so there is a good chance of my film being seen.

However, the is also the possibility of distribution via a UK short film festival like depict British film council or something via bfi.org.uk
