For my main task video I wanted to explore the genre of horror. I took my inspiration from the following films.
I looked at the history of opening sequences to get an idea of what sort of thing to look for in a film
I am a big Resident Evil fan and I really like the 4th film in the franchise.
I really like the opening scenes.
This film is a mixture of hand held TV news type footage and conventional cinema footage. The chaos and the panic as the viewer descends in to a living nightmare
is really good.
I like the opening style of this film, its cartoon like which could fit in with my horror story.
The Shinning is a classic horror film full of suspense and fear and I would like to try an include a fear ideas from this film especially the flash back sequences inter cut with current day shots.
